USTA League Teams
USTA
League Tennis is the country's largest recreational tennis league,
helping more than 295,000 players nationwide get on the court, have a good
time, and step up their game. The League is organized as competitive team
match play.
Each USTA League team needs at least 10 players at or below the NTRP rating.
(Though 2003 offers self-rating for players who did not play in USTA events
in 2001 and 2002)
Each match consists of 3 doubles and two singles, available in Manhattan, Queens,
LI and NJ. All CATSNY supported teams will likely enter the Queens district,
playing at NTC at Flushing Meadows US Open courts starting in May, on weekday
evenings.
Specific schedules and results will be posted on CATSNY.org, so family, friends
and supporters can go watch and cheer for these teams, as well as monitor their
progress.
The same 4.0 men's team won the Eastern Section in 2000, and participated in
the Nationals held in San Diego that October!
We support each team to do their best!
To become a USTA League Team
player, you must
be a USTA member. Click here to register as a
USTA member, then contact each team captain for details.
